Events

Volunteering
We currently need help with Fundraising, cat transportating to vet clinics and helping with upcoming Adoption Events. If you're interested in volunteering, please give us a call. We can't wait to meet you!
Fundraising
You love talking to people in person and on the phone. You love asking businesses for donations. You feel excited when people say yes! Or you'd rather just spend 2-3 hours in town picking up donated items from businesses. Either way, we'd love your help!

Events
You love to talk to people and tell them about the Rescue. You get to sit at a table with another volunteer with cats and kittens. You get to educate everyone about why our Rescue is special and what we're doing in the community. You help with adoptions. When it slows down you can take a look at the other booths. And you get to play with cats!

Transporting
Maybe you'd rather just relax in your comfortable car and transport cats and kittens to the vet clinic. If you have 2-4 hours to spare helping with this, that sounds great!

Our Rescue

We're so excited about our new Maternity and Holding building! We usually only have one pregnant cat at once so she's able to rest in peace. Our Holding section usually holds several cats at a time (depending on their personalities!). There is food, water and toys to keep all the cats interested and occupied! But more important, a safe place for them to live until they find their furrever homes.

This is our office where our official Office Protecters, Finny and Bootsie, reside.

We love the new Catio for our cats! It holds 6-8 cats at a time. There's a window in the building that looks into the Catio for the cats to look into. They love it in beautiful weather!

Meet Finny (left picture) and Bootsie (right Picture). Both are new additions to our family and they're the official Office Protectors! They love to be loved and they really love treats and pets! They both came from horrific circumstancs and remind us every day how important cat rescue is.
How We Started

Four years ago Chrissie Pierce and her husband, Tim, moved to Delray, WV. They loved the beautiful countryside and found the perfect property for them. She has always loved animals and had several throughout her lifetime. She quickly noticed the over population in her area and wanted to help the situation. She started fostering cats and worked with another rescue. In February, 2025 she made
.her rescue "official" by making it a 501c3 organization
There are several buildings dedicated to the rescue and there are plans on upgrading the Maternity Ward and Catio in the future.

Currently the only income is through generous donations. If you are able to make a donation, however how small, we will greatly appreciate it!

If you'd rather volunteer, we'd love your help!
